Donation of preventive medical equipment by The Presbyterian Church in Taiwan
During this difficult period of time as the world fights against threat of Covid-19, brothers and sisters in Christ around the globe have been helping one another, from providing emergency funds and a roof over their heads for those whose livelihood are affected, to provide counselling services for those affected mentally, from being quarantined at home. The Presbyterian Church in Singapore is very blessed to have the support from The Presbyterian Church in Taiwan (PCT) in midst of this difficult times. With the assistance of our Advisor for Community Outreach Rev Dr Li Hau Tiong, PCT has recently donated 500 pieces of medical gowns to PCS, which are essential equipment for the fight against Covid-19. The medical gowns have been delivered to the four centres of All Saints Home earlier this week. We would like to sincerely thank PCT for their kindness and generosity. PCT has also kindly expressed that they may be able to provide other preventive medical equipment to PCS' member churches and community services centres, should there be a need. If your church requires such items, do reach out to us via your church leaders by email at office@presbysing.org.sg, stating the kind of item and quantities needed. The Synod Office will collate all requests and do the necessary coordination.
Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to our brothers and sisters at PCT.
