Relief Fund Raising for Sulawesi Earthquake and Tsunami

On 28 September 2018, a shallow, large earthquake struck Indonesia, with its epicentre located in the mountainous Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi. A localised tsunami later struck Palu, sweeping shore-lying houses and buildings on its way. The combined effects of the earthquake and tsunami led to the deaths of an estimated 4,340 people. We are thankful that member churches responded to the fund raising, and a total of S$109,474.25 was collected, out of which 70% was given to World Vision International and 30% to the Red Cross Society.
