LAUNCH SG 2014

Synod Youth Council is running LAUNCH SG again this December!

The goal of LAUNCH SG is to nurture youth for lifelong ministry for God's glory in response to the love of God and the Lord Jesus Christ. The ultimate aim is to produce mature Christians to serve the Lord and to make disciples for God (Eph 4:11-13; Col 1:28), beginning with our denomination growing to embrace the partnership of like-minded churches.

LAUNCH SG prayerfully seeks to accomplish its objective through an annual conference as part of a 4-year syllabus. This will develop youth from selfleadership to ministry team leadership. We hope to run Level 1-4 at every LAUNCH SG, subject to availability of trainers and participants. A participant should ideally attend from Level 1 to Level 4 in sequence. Exceptions can be made for experienced youth leaders to skip Level 1.

There will be 3 components in each level to engage the heart, mind and hands.

• The big group talks are designed to be related to ministry and leadership. They are meant to challenge the participants with the gospel and bring them to a rightful response of service and discipleship. The talks are for all participants regardless of level.
• The connect groups give participants more indepth study and learning of the bible (different genre for different levels) in a small group.
• The workshops equip participants with biblical knowledge and also ministry skills at various levels.

• Cost: $40 per person (Includes morning tea, lunch, and materials)
